School Council

This group of children is democratically elected by the children to represent the classes. Children can put themselves forward and then can talk to the rest of the class about why they think they would be good at this role. The class then votes.

The School Council meet regularly to discuss how they think we could improve our school and they compiled a list of ideas. Recently they have written letters to the Headteacher and other members of staff to make suggestions such as raising funds to buy some more football nets for the playground, starting a loom band club and having more singing and actions in Collective Worship.

A display about the School Council can be seen in school.
