School Timetable
8.40am - The school doors are open to KS2 pupils
8.45am - The school day starts for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. It is really important that all children are in school promptly for registration and the start of lessons.
10.20am - 10.35am - Year 1 breaktime
10.45am - 11am - Morning breaktime
11.45am- 12.45pm - Class 1 , Class 2, Class 3 and Class 4 Lunchtime
12.00pm - 13.00pm - Class 5, Class 6 and Class 7 Lunchtime
12.15pm - 13.15pm - Class 8, Class 9 and Class 10 Lunchtime
2.30pm - EYFS and KS1 afternoon breaktime
3.15pm - End of the school day for EYFS and KS1
3.20pm - End of the school day for KS2
On Mondays (9.00am - 9.30am), Wednesday (9.00am - 9.30am) and Fridays (2.30pm - 3pm) every week, the whole school attend collective worship together in the school hall. These sessions are led by Mr Hope (Headteacher) and Reverend Garry Hinchcliffe (Clergy from St John's Church). Class collective worship takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Entilement of school hours
- EYFS and KS1 offer 32 hours and 30 minutes per week
- KS2 offer 33 hours and 20 minutes per week
The 32.5 hour minimum expectation includes the time in each day from the official start of the school day (i.e. morning registration) to the official end of the compulsory school day (i.e. official home time). The 32.5 hour minimum includes lunch times and other breaks
as well as teaching time and any enrichment activities that all pupils are expected to attend. It does not include optional before or after school provision.
