My Child At School (MCAS) 
Knaresborough St John's Primary School uses the MCAS app for managing a range of pupil-related processes and we encourage all parents to register.
The app is designed by Bromcom and it functions as an all-in-one information hub and communication tool, connecting parents directly to the school's management information system (MIS)
Important & Key Functions of the MCAS App
- Real-time Attendance Monitoring: View daily attendance, punctuality, and an interactive attendance calendar.
- Absence reporting: Allows parents to report their child(ren) as absent without the need to email / telephone.
- Dinner Module: View the rolling dinner menu and allows parent to book their childs lunches in advance.
- Communication Hub: Receive instant notifications, and letters from the school directly to the phone.
- Online Payments: Pay for dinner money, wraparound care, clubs, or trips, and view payment history.
- Data Management: Check and update personal details held by the school, including parental consents.
- Parents’ Evening Booking: Schedule and manage appointments for parents’ consultations.
- Clubs Booking: Sign up your child to extra curricular clubs.
The school office will send an invitation to your nominiated email address. Please note that this invite will expire after 24 hours so please register within that timeframe.
