Become a Maths Legend with Sumdog

Children from St John's really enjoy using the Maths website Sumdog, which tests out your maths skills as well as being fun!

Check out http://www.sumdog.com/ for more details......

Thea  (Y4) - I love Sumdog! I've got 5135 points which means I'm a Polar Bear and I'm trying to become an Indian elephant 7500. My score is so high because since I started Maths Mansion, I've been on Sumdog every night! I really like it because I enjoy doing maths in and out of school. I especially like the maths problems about time because it's something I need to work on. I've got so many favourite games I can't choose my best!

Olivia (Y5) I think that Sumdog helps me with my maths because it set challenges at speed so my mental maths is improving. We can choose own our avatar (character) and then when I've completed the games I get to earn coins to change my character's clothes. At the moment my ranking is quite low (Common rat) because I've only just started playing. I like playing against other children who are on Sumdog because it adds to the excitement.

Rowan (Y3) - It's really exciting because you can play loads of games and it has made maths really fun for me.
