Brief Overview of the Role

 

  • Meadowside Academy is looking to appoint a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for the behaviour of pupils during the lunch time period both indoors and outdoors, in accordance with the general practices of the school.
  • Assistance in preparing the layout of the tables in preparation for lunch including laying the tables.
  • Supervising the pupils when they are in the dining room/classrooms eating lunch.
  • Assistance in clearing up the dining room after the lunch break including clearing any food and wrapping left on the tables and wiping the tables and sweeping the floor.
  • You will be expected to ensure that Health and Safety practices and procedures affecting pupils and supervisory staff are maintained including the reporting of accidents, action taken etc and adhere to whole school policies.

This post will be offered on an established permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be reliable and flexible and be required to work from Monday to Friday during term time including 5 days training days.
