Snow Day - Friday 10th March
Due to the heavy snowfall overnight, it has made it very tricky to get enough staff into school to open safely. Below are a few activities to complete today.
Whole School (which can can do with your parents, grandparents and any older brothers or sisters who may also be off school)
- Build a snowman! Please go outside, build the most amazing snowman and have your photo taken with it! Email this over to your teachers and we will share some of the best when we get back to school
- Read a story that you really enjoy and draw a picture that would go with it. It may be a drawing of your favourite scene, your favourite character or you could redesign the front cover. Let your imagination run wild! Bring in your finished drawings to your teachers on Monday.
- Show how good you are with your times tables. This website (Multiplication Tables Check - Mathsframe) is a great way of finding out how good you are at answering multiplication questions! Parents, you can change the times tables accordingly to allow your child to focus on the areas they need a little extra practice at. As a guide, by the end of Yr4, children should be able to answer all multiplication questions up to 12 x 12.
- Take a wintery photograph and use your computing skills to edit it. Be creative!
